Help centre
Step-by-step guides for the DediGermany control panel, with screenshots. Reboot, repair and reinstall your server, set up the firewall and networks, and manage billing yourself.
Getting started
Server controls
Reboot and power controls
Five restart options, from a clean reboot to a technician pressing the button in the data centre. No ticket needed.
Rescue system
A Linux system that boots from the network. Your installed system is not changed, so it is the safe way to repair a server that no longer starts.
Reinstall the operating system
Start again with a clean system in a few clicks. The panel offers Debian, Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux and more.
Remote console (KVM)
See the server's screen and use its keyboard in your browser, even while it boots or has no network. Available on every server.
Reverse DNS
Reverse DNS is the hostname other servers see for your IP address. Mail servers need one that matches your mail hostname.
Network
Firewall
The firewall sits in our network in front of your server, so blocked traffic never reaches it. It is free and you can switch it off at any time.
Private networks
A private network connects your servers over their own network, separate from the internet. It is free and you set it up yourself.
Extra IPv4 addresses
Separate addresses for SSL sites, game communities or customers. $3 a month per address, no setup fee.
Traffic graphs
See what your server sends and receives. Traffic is unmetered, so the graphs are for your information only.
Billing and support
Invoices and payments
How renewals work, how to pay an invoice and how to make renewals pay themselves.
Cancel a server
No minimum term and no notice period. The server runs until the end of the month you paid for.
