Streaming and media servers

Streaming moves a lot of data, all day. Our servers pair unmetered 1 Gbit/s ports with many-core CPUs that keep up with real-time transcoding.

  • No traffic meter

Push as much as the 1 Gbit/s port carries without per-terabyte overage charges.

  • Cores for transcoding

FFmpeg scales across cores. Twenty cores on the Core Ultra 7 handle several simultaneous 1080p ladders.

  • Fast scratch storage

NVMe drives keep HLS segments and recordings off the critical path.

  • Central location

One origin in Germany reaches most of Europe, the Middle East and North Africa with low latency.

Questions

Is traffic really unlimited?

Traffic on the standard 1 Gbit/s port is unmetered. Fair use applies, and the 10 Gbit/s upgrade is billed by volume.

Can I restream to YouTube and Twitch?

Yes. Restreaming and RTMP relays are allowed as long as you have the rights to the content you broadcast.
